Trek to Chaainsheel Bugyal
Chaainsheel Bugyal is a Trek which is filled with lush greenery and some “Into the Wild” type feels. So, there are certain items which you must be consider taking with you if you’re looking forward to this trek. Those crucial items includes:-
Trekking Boots
You have forest, meadows, river crossings, boulders, scree and snow (we did not face snow but it can be easily seen in cold winter season). So, trekking boots must be there on the top of your checklist. Wear a pair of forest friendly boots.

Trekking Boots are necessary
Raincoat/Poncho
When you’re trekking in these areas, drizzling is normal and storm is a possibility in bad weather as well. So, prepare for the worst case scenario and always keep a raincoat in the upper part of the backpack so that it will be easier for you to bring it out when it is needed the most. Add one pair of waterproof gloves as well. They will grip your trekking pole even in rain.

Don’t forget the Poncho!
Backpack
Choose your Backpack wisely. We said it because we mean it. Your one bad decision of taking loads of luggage can ruin your trek in no time. So prepare your upper base strong by choosing a right backpack for the Chaainsheel Bugyal Trek. You may take a rucksack of around 40-50 litres of storage capacity. You can take along one 10 litres backpack with you as well just to add some light weight snacks and some necessary items like Torch, Raincoat, etc.

Clothes
You will need three t-shirts, three trek pants and a warm jacket. Don’t add jeans to the treks. Jeans are of no use there. If by any chance, you’re trekking with your jean on, you’ll end up getting rashes. And your trip will be ruined in no time. Three warm layers are necessary when trekking on high altitudes. Three pair of Socks works fine for your entire trek.

Three layers will keep you warm and safe from that cold breeze.
Don’t forget to add thermals to your backpack. Nights are way colder than you can imagine. Forget your warm and cozy bed for a while and imagine a scenario where you will be spending your night in a tent where you have nothing but a liner and a sleeping bag to keep you warm. Take a step ahead and carry your thermals to the trek. You can always thank us later!

Accessories
You’ll be trekking on high altitudes. To prevent your face from burning directly from the sunlight, you will need Sunglasses, Sun Cap & Sun Screen lotion. Don’t forget to add 2 litres of water (preferably two bottles of 1 litre each) to your backpack. More quantity will add additional weight and less will leave you dehydrate. So, 2 litres of water is perfectly calculated for every trekker looking forward to Chaainsheel Bugyal Trek. Trekking pole is a must while descending.

Trekking Pole becomes a necessity when you’re trekking down
Bring your own Toiletries & Cutlery. When you are away from your home, bringing these two of your own will be a hygiene friendly decision for sure. Include sunscreen, moisturiser lotion, light towel, lip balm, toilet paper, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc as your Toiletries. On the other hand, carry a mug, spoon and a lunch box for your next trek.

You will need Cutlery to eat that!
Most Important Thing – Not to be missed
Happiness is the key to Success and one cannot afford to lose their smile as it is highly needed throughout the trek. Smile means positive vibes and that means happiness. If you’re happy enough to face any challenge comes in between you and your trek, it will surely going to become a jolly good trek for you. No matter what happens, don’t lose that jolly good spirit in you.
