Singapore Itinerary – A day well spent at Sentosa Island!
Although it is known as the Island, there are various modes of transport to reach. We have the cable car, the Sentosa Express and one can also prefer to take a stroll through the broadway if the weather is pleasant. We took the Sentosa Express from the Harbor Front Station. On the way to Sentosa by the express we got a glimpse of the harbor where ships were parked and the view was beautiful.
We got down at the Waterfront Station for the first and the major attraction of the day, the Universal Studios! Although we had seen it in pictures earlier, the actual view of it was breathtaking and we spent almost the entire day there. We felt the time wasn’t enough for us as we had to cover other attractions too at the Sentosa.
Travel Tip: Come to Sentosa for two days Reserve a complete day from your itinerary for Universal Studios to enjoy it completely.Visit the other attractions on the second day!
Sentosa has a plethora of tourist attractions, all different from each other. We can find the wax statues at the Madame Tussads along with the S.E.A. Aquarium close by. The Images of Singapore LIVE displayed the history of Singapore through a theatrical medium with various characters talking about different periods. Quite informative! They also have a special light and sound show in the evening called the Wings of Time.
Travel Tip: Buy the tickets to these attractions at the Changi Airport from “Changi Recommends” and save few dollars!
We were able to cover the above mentioned attractions and had to miss a few with a heavy heart as we did not have much time. However, we will be happily sharing a detailed post on each one of them with more pictures soon. The other tourist attractions which can be covered as per individual’s interest are the i-Fly, the Dolphin Island, Cove Waterpark and more. Sentosa is a fun place to enjoy with friends and family as it has everything to offer from adventure rides to historical facts to relaxing at the beach. A place definitely worth visiting again, we look forward to be here soon.

The next morning we left for the airport as we had to fly back to India. With very fond memories from the short and hectic yet sweet and full of pictures trip to South East Asia we enjoyed watching the pics together on the flight.
