The smartphone market is very competitive today. With so many different companies launching a new phone every single day, it’s becoming difficult for the consumers equally to choose the best phone. Unboxing:
The Pixel 2 sits right inside the box as you open it. The just black color makes it all the more tempting as it shines inside the box. It comes in the standard box with the accessories that are worth noticing. The charger and the c-type USB cable are the same you as find them in almost all new phones. What’s worth noticing is the Type-C to Type-A Quick Switch Adapter and the type C to 3.5mm dongle which tells us that the Google Pixel lacks a 3.5mm jack. It was difficult for us to hold on and we soon jumped to powering on the device quickly.

We have been using the Pixel 2 for more than a month now and we have been quite impressed by its amazing features and superb display. Here are a few things that we enjoyed while using this amazing piece of technology:

1) The Display:
It comes with a 5 inch Full HD AMOLED display and produces really sharp display. The 440ppi density shows the color contrast perfectly and you can actually find the blacks to be black in this phone. The screen is easy to use even in broad sunlight without any reading issues.

2) The Camera:
It has the best camera we have ever used in a smartphone. Period! The 12.2MP camera with Dual-Pixel Autofocus and Dual LED Flash makes it a killer. We truly loved the portrait mode from the UI and enjoyed traveling with this to our Palace on Wheels journey. The camera can record 4K and slow-motion videos with superb speed and quality. The shutter speed of the camera is immensely quick to capture several photos in a row.

3) The Unlimited Storage:
Google now provides unlimited storage for all your Pixel 2 videos and photos in your Google account till January 2021. This means you don’t need to worry if you want to capture your entire trip to 4K. Just pull out your phone and start shooting, Google will take care of the rest.

The phone comes with a 2700mAh battery which may not seem enough but it actually lasts long. What amazes us more is the charging capabilities as the phone gets completely charged from zilch in a bit over 30 mins. The phone lasts for a good 13-15 hours on 4G with extensive usage including the recording and heavy usage of social media applications.

5) Overall Look and Feel:
Google Pixel 2 is lighter than most of its competitors. With a sleek rectangular design without rounded edges, holding this device in the hand feels good. The size of the phone and the premium glass finish on the top makes it your perfect partner during travel. We also liked the speakers of this phone as they are good for watching movies or listening to music when you don’t want to carry the USB-C to 3.5mm jack.
