With the objective of providing the most affordable, comfortable and convenient stay to its customers in different parts of Asia. OYO Rooms has been able to provide exemplary service at the most affordable prices ever since its inception. We were invited by ScoutMyTrip to go on a road trip from Delhi to Kathmandu along with experiencing the OYO hospitality enroute to OYO in Kathmandu. It was a week long trip with a stay at OYO Kathmandu for 3 nights and 2 days. Here we bring detailed review and story of how OYO gets a new home in Kathmandu.
Location:
This property in Kathmandu is centrally located with the Tribhuvan Airport only 3kms away. The Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important temple in Kathmandu was only a kilometer away from this OYO. The surrounding area had good eating joints and is also very close to the main market area of Kathmandu. OYO lives up to the standards of choosing the best location of the city for its guests.
Staff, Reception and Check In:
The staff at OYO Kathmandu was well trained, professional and always willing to help. The staff here made sure that all are needs are taken care of if we have chosen this stay. The reception area of the hotel was brightly lit and was taken care of by the staff. The team at OYO was well prepared for our arrival after the day long drive from India and accelerated the check in process to ensure swiftness. We were in our rooms with our luggage within minutes of our arrival.
Room:
Our room at OYO was a complete delight. A road facing room with a large king size bed, a small sitting area along with an attached washroom was comfortable in all sense. The amenities of this OYO were given a raise with a hot water bath tub in the washroom for relaxation from the fatigue of the journey.
Food and other services:
The food served at this property was one of the best at OYO Rooms. We were welcomed with light snacks and juices on our arrival. We had complementary breakfast on both the days of our stay. This included a buffet breakfast on their root top dining area. The dinner served in the room was hot and tasty. The OYO Rooms at Kathmandu had a variety of cuisines in their menu. They also had an in house bar to be enjoyed by the guests. Apart from good food and a clean stay, OYO had its other standard features like the Free WiFi, 24 hours help desk, call a cab facility and prompt room service.
Overall Experience:
As this is the debut of OYO in Nepal, OYO Rooms has made sure it gives a memorable experience to its guests. Everything has been taken utmost care with keen interest shown by the OYO Captain Prakash Rao who personally takes matters in his hands when it comes to the overall experience. The location, the staff and the delicious food makes this OYO the perfect choice for a stay in Kathmandu.
5) Service: The services offered at all the OYO properties are excellent. The staff at OYO is always well trained, very professional and is eager to help. The amenities provided at the price offered is unparalleled as per the industry standards.
