It was a not so clear sky and cloudy when we woke up in the morning. The day 2 of our stint with Kuala Lumpur had a lot more in store for us. As it was the last day of our stay at KL, we planned to cover most places in the quickest way possible. We had planned our travel by mixed modes of transport which included cabs from Uber or Grab and the metro rail to save time. We had our breakfast at Carrot Restaurant in the Regalia Suites before starting our day.

The beautiful weather in KL!
The first stop for the day’s journey was the Batu Caves. The Batu Caves were located around 12km from our residence so we preferred to take a cab to save time. This is a limestone hill which has caves within it. It has a huge statue of Lord Murugan and has a flight of 272 steps to be taken if you want to reach the caves. We spent almost 2 hours there and visited the caves before saying a goodbye to Batu.

We came to KL Sentral station by metro as there is a metro station right next to Batu Caves. KL Sentral station is huge as it is a junction for different metro rails including the KLIA Transit which takes us directly to the airport. The metro station houses many eating joints and we can enjoy different kinds of food there from Indian, Chinese to Malay or may be grab a cappuccino before catching the next train. We also had an early lunch there at Di Naina, an Indian food specialist at the KL Sentral.

After a stroll through the Petaling Street we went for famous KL Suria Mall. This mall is located at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC) and is close to the Petronas Towers. The KL Suria Mall is a shopper’s paradise with all the big brands present under one roof. The courtyard outside the mall has a light and sound show in the evening for the visitors.
Our next stop was the Aquaria KLCC a.k.a. KL Aquaria. This is one place which is truly fascinating as it allows you to take a tour of the aquatic world deeply. The place has various species of fishes and sea animals for display and we can also touch and feel some of them like the starfish. The underwater experience of a shark moving over our heads was truly mesmerizing.

The last stop for the day was the Menara KL Tower and their world famous restaurant Atmosphere 360 where we had decided to have our dinner. Although expensive for a usual dinner cost, the Atmosphere 360 is your tryst with luxury and was perfect for our date night at the KL. This restaurant is a revolving restaurant which moves at a slow pace and takes a full circle in approximately an hour. Nothing could have been a better goodbye to the city than a luxury like this to end with.
