Experience Monsoon like never before Chaayos Monsson Menu
Monsoon is here and so is the fragrance of the soil, the hot ginger tea and the crispy pakodas to be relished with friends and family. India is a land of different seasons and monsoon seems to be the favorite of most of us. The freshness the rains bring after the scorching heat is overwhelming. To enhance and enrich the experience of the monsoons, Chaayos has launched its new Monsoon Menu for its patrons. The Monsoon Menu prepared is well thought of, have all the key dishes to enjoy the monsoons and it actually leaves the people smiling after the experience.
We happened to visit Chaayos to try their Monsoon Menu on a weekday and were really happy to see the people appreciating it wholeheartedly. We did not expect much rush in the evening as it was a weekday but were surprised to see the footfall there. That set the tempo right and increased the enthusiasm to try the items on the list.
We started with the famous Kulhad Chai, Baarish Wale Pakode and Bun Samosa. The tea was hot, fresh, yummy and enhanced the taste of the delicious pakodas. The Bun Samosa has always been a personal favorite from the past and it was tasteful. After the customary start, we moved on to the Paneer Loaded Open Paratha and Kulhad Masala Chicken Kulcha.
The Paneer Loaded Open Paratha was a king size Malabar Paratha with chunks of flavorsome Paneer cooked in Indian spices. The dish was full of spices, tasty and a must try. The Kulhad Masala Chicken Kulcha turned out to be our favorite as it had one of the best Chicken Masala served in a Kulhad. The dish was so good that we ended up repeating it. This is our recommendation not to be missed at Chaayos.
As we were quite happy with the food and we wanted to take a break, it was time for another round of tea before we start eating. This time we asked for one Desi Chai (make your own tea) and a Pineapple Strawberry Panna. While the tea was made to perfection, just what we needed, the Panna was differently refreshing.
We moved on to the Kadhai Chicken Sandwich, Shahi Chai and Jalebi. The sandwich was good but the highlight was the Shahi Chai. One of the best tea served at Chaayos, this was thick, sweet and had loads of almonds in it.
PS: We were invited by Chaayos for tasting for their newly launched Chaayos Monsoon Menu but the experiences or views shared are solely of the author and is not influenced in any way.
