Goa has been on our bucket list since long. Ever since we got married we have been waiting to go on a beach vacation since our honeymoon trip to Bali! This year post our multiple trips to the mountains which include Kanatal, Almora and Ranikhet finally it was time for us to head to the beach. We wanted to experience Goa during the monsoons as we knew that Goa must be gushing with greenery. We spent the first two days of the trip at the Divar Islands spending most of the time enjoying in the calmness. Once done with the soothing and enchanting surroundings of the Divar island we headed to the North Goa, the center of nightlife, parties and fun. We stayed with The Park Hotel Calangute which was luxury property present right at the Calangute Beach in North Goa. Our stint with the Park was for two days and we enjoyed their hospitality to the fullest. The Park, Calangute – Experience luxury and bliss by the Beach is our experiences from our stay here.
The Location:
The Park Hotel Calangute as the name suggests is located right at the Calangute beach in North Goa. The location of this property makes it a perfect choice for all the beach lovers as it is located just at the beach. This makes it an extremely convenient choice for those who want to spend more time on the beach and hop between the hotel and beach easily. The park is located at almost an hour’s drive from the Goa International Aiport and 20 mins drive from the Baga Railway Station in Goa. Just close to the park are many eateries, supermarkets, pubs and land casinos.

The Room:
We were staying in the Studio Suite at the Park Hotel Calangute and we couldn’t have been more happy about it. The room had all the amenities of a luxury stay and topped it all with a plunge pool right in our suite. It was a luxurious suite at the ground floor with the view of the swimming pool from the room. The room had a minibar stocked with all kinds of beverages and snacks. The plunge pool inside the suite was just the place to unwind while enjoying a sip of your drink.

The Food:
The Park Hotel Calangute can be rated high on food. They have a multi-cuisine restaurant which serves buffet meals for breakfast and ala-carte throughout the day. The buffet breakfast includes all kinds of cuisines from Indian, Continental, American to Chinese. There is also a live counter within the restaurant for serving freshly cooked variants of eggs. The view from the restaurant is awesome as it overlooks the Calangute beach. You also have to option to have breakfast by the beach as they have an outdoor seating too. The in-room dining service at the hotel is also prompt. We happened to order some snacks while chilling in the plunge pool and totally enjoyed the fish and chicken preparations.

The staff here was amazing and we loved chatting with Praveen while he spoke lengths about this newly launched property. He also gave us a quick property tour and showed us the rooms. The rooms are really spacious at this property and each room speaks about the culture and history of Goa. We would love to stay here during our next visit to Goa.

Overall Experience:
The Park Hotels have always lived up to the brand name they have earned over the years. Be it their property in Hyderabad or those in Goa, they always want to leave their customers happy and satisfied. The staff here is always on their toes to make sure we have a pleasant experience. During our two days of stay at the Park Hotel Calangute, we totally enjoyed their hospitality. Even the car and chauffeurs provided to us for exploring the city were exceptionally good and well mannered. We loved the overall experience of staying at the Park and would definitely like to come back here again.
